How can an educational campus be built without disrupting the cultural and spatial continuity of a mountainous rural context? DAO San is an educational campus currently under construction in a mountainous region of northern Vietnam, scheduled to be completed and operational for the new academic year in September 2026. The project is situated within a landscape shaped by terrain, climate, and long-established community life. Education here is not isolated from its surroundings; it is embedded in daily routines, seasonal rhythms, and collective memory. DAO San begins by acknowledging this condition, treating architecture not as an imposed object, but as a continuation of place.
