The DHL Europe Innovation Center (EPIC 2.0) is conceived as a forward-looking, collaborative hub in Cologne, Germany, bringing together customers, startups, and researchers to drive innovation in logistics, sustainability, and digitalization. The design responds to this vision by creating a future-ready environment that embodies DHL’s brand while supporting flexibility, collaboration, and evolving work modes. At its core, sustainability informs every aspect of the design across environmental, social, and economic dimensions. Through the use of durable, recyclable, and certified materials, energy-efficient systems, and a lifecycle-driven approach, the project aspires to meet DGNB certification standards, integrating sustainability seamlessly into the spatial and material language rather than expressing it superficially.
