New Tashkent Contemporary Art Center

The New Tashkent Contemporary Art Center redefines cultural architecture through climate-driven form and spatial continuity. Rather than adopting a monumental object, the project emerges from environmental performance data specific to Tashkent’s continental climate. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis shaped the aerodynamic roof geometry, reducing wind pressure and improving pedestrian-level comfort, while solar studies informed canopy depth and curvature to enable passive seasonal regulation.
