Tieu Phuong Villa is a testament to solidity — calm yet full of character. Like a subtle low note, the house still stands out within the green, clean, and open environment of the FPT City ecological urban area.
Benefiting from a three-frontage site, we focused on the arrangement of space, light, materials, and movement. The design is distinguished by a precisely refined and orderly symmetrical composition. Every line is intentionally placed, creating depth and a subtle transition between layers of interior and exterior spaces.
The wide overhanging pitched roof draws inspiration from the spirit of traditional Vietnamese tropical architecture, combined with an exposed timber truss-and-purlin structure that references traditional wooden construction while being simplified through a contemporary lens. Extending 2.2 meters outward, the roof system not only effectively provides shade and protection from rain, but also becomes a symbol of the intersection between Vietnamese identity and modernity within the project.
